Phoenix Fun Day brings our Chestnutwold families together for an afternoon of fun, games, and more! This annual event is sponsored by the PTO to help kick off the school year, meet new families, and build the Chestnutwold community.
Phoenix Fun Day features games, moon bounces, crafts, and an obstacle course; it also includes an hour-long dance party with games and raffle prizes! Pizza, baked goods, and spirit wear will be available for sale. All members of the school community are welcome to join the fun!
We're giving out raffle tickets for chances to win great prizes for all families that attend -- but you can win more chances to win by soliciting PTO donations from family, friends, and the community. Use the letter attached to reach out to your community and ask for their support! Each donation made in your name earns your family an additional raffle ticket!

Chestnutwold is a great community that offers so many great events and clubs but we need your help to make them happen!
Please come to the PTO Meeting and Volunteer Fair on Wednesday, September 14th to meet committee chairs and learn more about how you can volunteer this school year.

After School Activities and Clubs
We are hoping to confirm committee chairs soon, and encourage you all to attend the PTO Meeting and Volunteer Fair on Wednesday, September 14th to meet your fellow co-chairs and chairs and recruit additional volunteers as needed!
Save-the-date for Wednesday August 31st from 6-8 pm, for our Welcoming New Students Event at the Chestnutwold playground!
Please join us at 6:00 pm in the Gym for Principal Remarks, as Mr Denelsbeck will give a brief presentation and tour of Chestnutwold Elementary School. Following the presentation at 6:30 pm, all new students (Kindergarten through 5th grade) and their families are invited to attend the playground meet and greet. Enjoy one more summer treat, and meet new classmates, our school principal, and Chestnutwold families!

Please join us on May 22nd at 8:30 am for the return of the Chestnutwold Chase! We are excited to again offer two races for this year’s Chase. The one-mile fun run will occur first at 8:30 and will be followed by the 5K at 9am. So tell your friends and family and let’s lace up those running shoes!
Registration is still open. The cost for a single runner is $30 and a family is $90.

It's almost here!!! The Chestnutwold Chase returns this year on May 22nd and in order to make this the best Chase yet, we need your help! Combining family night and the talent show this year we have the student and family showcase! This year we are planning a special night to celebrate Phoenix families and students' talents and hobbies. Our showcase will be a fantastic display of who we are as individuals and what we can share with one another. Family night is baked right in this year, plan to have a watch party with your crew, order a pizza and get comfy as you sit back and enjoy the show! Be on the lookout for opportunities to donate to the PTO during the showcase.
