New Family Sponsors

Be a Sponsor Family This School Year: Do you love our wonderful community here at Chestnutwold?  Want to share that experience with the next group of incoming families? We are gathering volunteer families who will help us welcome incoming kindergartners and new students to the school and let them know how much we love our community. This year, more than ever, welcoming our new families will be appreciated.  It is a great way to give back to the community with just a little bit of time!  

 

The goal of this program is not offer advice or insight into virtual learning so much as it is to talk up our community. Sponsor families can direct Covid related questions to the appropriate school district resources.  More information will follow but you can sign up to participate by emailing Amy Solwecki, amymsolwecki@gmail.com, before Sunday, August 17.

Box Tops

Box Tops are on many products such as General Mills Cheerios, or Annie's macaroni and cheese. Box Tops earn our school easy money ($668.40 this past year)! Watch this 2 minute video for instructions!

Then... 
1. Download the App
2. Choose Chestnutwold as your school to donate to.
3. When you scan your receipt, you can give credit to your child's class by clicking the credit button BEFORE submitting the picture of the receipt. You can just type in the teachers last name, and that's it! Your child's class will get credit for the classroom competition to see who turns in the most Box Tops for the water ice party at the end of the year.

Also, registering will ensure you get information about all the PTO sponsored events and after school clubs.

How to: Register Amazon Smile/Box Tops/Giant Rewards

HELP US RAISE EASY MONEY FOR CHESTNUTWOLD

BOX TOPS FOR EDUCATION

This year, Box Tops will be changing over to use an app instead of clipping Box Tops. How it works:

1) Download the Box Tops app on your phone and select Chestnutwold as the school you want your Box Tops to benefit.

2) After grocery shopping or going to Target, Costco, etc. open the app and scan your receipt. Any items that offer Box Tops will be recognized and the money goes straight to our school. (You must scan the receipt within 14 days of purchase, or it will not be accepted.)

3) Continue to clip and turn in Box Tops because they are allowing people to “double dip” during this transition time. Remember, they do expire so please turn them in at collection times. Eventually physical Box Tops will not exist, but until then let’s double the amount of money for our school to pay for assemblies and other fun activities that benefit everyone!

* Some of the brands that have box tops are: General Mills, Annie’s, Nature Valley, Progresso, Old El Paso, Yoplait, Scott, Ziploc, Lysol

GIANT A+ SCHOOL REWARDS

Register your Club Card for GIANT A+ Rewards and select Chestnutwold. These rewards do not deduct from your own personal gas awards or other rewards you receive from Giant.
