Young Writers Day is Back! On Friday, November 17, over 15 local authors will meet with our students to show them what different careers in writing might look like and engage them in some fun writing, reading, and creative activities. Each homeroom will have 1-2 one-hour sessions with the invited authors, who run the gamut from local sports journalists and children's book authors to poets, illustrators, and songwriters. This has historically been a very special day for the kids, writers, and volunteers.

We are in need of parent volunteers to be author escorts during the event (Please Sign Up by November 11:) Note: Author Escort volunteers must be available between 8:30am-1pm and have up-to-date clearances. We will provide lunch!
