Scrap Metal Recycling Event

-Chestnutwold back parking lot, below loading dock.  Drop off unwanted metal, such as broken shelving, pipes, bikes (no tires), broken grills and more, the larger and heavier the weight the better.  

-Please no appliances with cords (Township Building and CREC has a recycling bin for small appliances), no tires, no batteries.  Volunteers will help to load all scrap metal into a vehicle. to bring to Accurate Metals for recycling. The Roots and Shoots Club will use all money raised from the recycling event to purchase more Terracycling bins for hard to recycle materials at Chestnutwold.

For Roots and Shoots’ scrap metal drive: do you have a large vehicle that you could drive to Accurate Metals that morning? Saturday 3/25 we will collect scrap metal at the school loading dock starting at 7am, load vehicles starting at 9:30, and drive to the scrap yard around 10:30. So drivers would be committed from about 9:30-11:30.  Sign up Here
